Cleveland Indians: 8 Indians players make MLBRank top 100
The Cleveland Indians are well-represented on a list ranking the top 100 MLB players, featuring talent from both the pitching staff and the lineup.
Cleveland Indians fans know their favorite team is talented. It is just a matter of when all the talent will come together to become of the most dominant teams in the league.
A recent list on ESPN.com, known as MLBRank, ranked the top 100 MLB players. As no surprise to Indians fans, the team made its mark on the list.
The Indians had eight players make the top 100:
No. 11: Francisco Lindor
No. 29: Corey Kluber
No. 36: Andrew Miller
No. 51: Carlos Carrasco
No. 69: Edwin Encarnacion
No. 81: Michael Brantley

It is not a surprise for Indians fans to see all these names, but it is interesting that the team is good enough to have eight players ranked among the top 100 in all of baseball.
The rankings are fair, with the only exception being Jose Ramirez who is easily one of the stars of the league right now. But we will keep that our secret for now.
Ramirez was actually the only one of the eight to not make the list last year, so perhaps the amount of Indians on the list shouldn’t be surprising.
Kipnis may be the only iffy inclusion, but apparently he has done enough for the voters to keep him in mind as one of the better second baseman in baseball.
Based on the talent both on the roster and in the organization, the Indians will continue to be well-represented on this list for years to come. Players like Bradley Zimmer and Francisco Mejia could be on it in the next few years, while players like Ramirez and Lindor should be on it for the next ten.
