The Cleveland Indians need some big names to step up to help propel this team into the postseason for the second straight season.

The Cleveland Indians are in a good place.

The team currently sits in first place in the American League Central, Terry Francona is ready to return and five players went down to Miami and represented the organization well in the MLB All-Star Game.

But even with all the positives, there are always negatives. Just consult Twitter to see if there are some Indians fans out there who are just a tad pessimistic.

The negativity comes from the fact this team is loaded with talent but has seen some of its best players struggle this season. Buried beneath the success had by Jose Ramirez, Lonnie Chisenhall and Corey Kluber is a handful of players who have not performed to their full potential up to this point.

The amount of talent on the team helps keep the team fighting for that top spot in the division, but everyone will need to be performing their best if the team wants to win a World Series title.

No one has had a season bad enough to warrant being removed from the roster, but some of the big names have left fans frustrated since the season began at April. We now take a look at five players who need to turn things around as the second half of the season gets underway tonight in Oakland.
