The Cleveland Indians have been without Andrew Miller and Lonnie Chisenhall for quite some time, but both are in Columbus for upcoming rehab assignments.

Winning cures all and that has been the case to start the week as the Cleveland Indians are winners of four straight.

Edwin Encarnacion launched two home runs and made a statement Monday night in Boston, following a weekend in which Indians pitchers embarrassed the Tampa Bay Rays.

The success is great, and things should only get better with the impending returns of two key players.

Andrew Miller is set to make a rehab outing on Wednesday in Columbus, with the expectation of him rejoining the Indians on Friday.

Miller will rejoin a bullpen that now features Joe Smith at a crucial time in the season. The Indians have three games against the Minnesota Twins before Miller returns, and then head to Kansas City for a series where he will join the team.

Regardless of whether the Indians win or lose the series against the Twins, the one against the Royals remains an important one as well. Both the Twins and Royals are five games behind the Indians in the AL Central, so a rough stretch for the Indians will keep both in contention.

While Miller is making a quick stop in the minors, Lonnie Chisenhall is set to be there for a bit longer, and is in Columbus today for another rehab start.

Chisenhall was in the lineup as a designated hitter on Sunday in Akron, but now needs to get some action in the field to see how his calf holds up. His wife is also having their child next week, so Chisenhall has about a week to test out the calf and prepare for a return at the end of the month.

Some fans are curious how Chisenhall will fit into the lineup with Jay Bruce playing in right field, but Terry Francona is more than capable of getting a bit creative. Chisenhall is versatile and can play any outfield position, along with third and first base.

With the way Chisenhall has been hitting, he needs to be in the lineup. And adding him to a lineup that now features Jay Bruce is rather exciting.
