Cleveland Indians fans were treated to an unforgettable moment from Tyler Naquin at Progressive Field exactly one year ago today.

It is almost hard to believe one whole year has passed since Tyler Naquin provided Cleveland Indians fans with one of the most exciting plays in team history.

His stardom has died down quite a bit in the past year, but no one will ever forget his walk-off inside-the-park home run on August 19, 2016.

He hit a walk-off sac fly on August 18, but that moment was quickly overshadowed.

More from Away Back Gone

I have written many words on this moment, but I had to share it again with today being the one year anniversary. It gives me goosebumps every single time I watch, although it doesn’t produce the tears like Rajai Davis‘ big home run.

Naquin has only played in nine games with the Indians this season as he was passed up on the depth chart by Bradley Zimmer.

Zimmer’s struggles could potentially result in Naquin being called up and Zimmer being sent down if it was earlier in the season, but the team may hold off on such a move with the rosters expanding at the end of the month.

It is impossible to predict what Naquin’s future holds in Cleveland, but fans will never forget him for his magical moment in 2016. My favorite part, aside from when he scores of course, is when his teammates are following him down the baseline with such enthusiasm.

There have been some fun walk-off wins in 2017, but fans are still waiting for a moment that really stands out and gets that World Series feeling up and going again.

Maybe Naquin will join the team in September and do it all over again, leading to him unveiling his own statue later in the month.
