Cleveland Indians: Time to plan for Spring Training in 2018
The Cleveland Indians released their 2018 Spring Training schedule, giving fans a light at the end of the tunnel this offseason.
The sun setting before the workday is over is something Clevelanders are used to this time of year. The news surrounding the Cleveland Indians isn’t game-related, and fans just want some 7:05 baseball to enjoy.
While the regular season remains months away, there is always Spring Training to look forward to.
For those planning the annual trip to Arizona, the team released the schedule today.

The first game is on February 23, which is just over three months away. Plenty of time to determine the best route to drive out there if you are like me and can’t stand planes.
By the time February 23 rolls around the roster should be ready to go for the season, hopefully with Carlos Santana as part of the group.
No matter what happened the year before, the games in February and March always serve as an optimistic start of a new season.
Fans are disappointed in the way 2017 ended, but seeing the team back on the field playing again should be enough to bring the baseball fever back.
The bulk of the 2017 team will be back on the field in 2018, as was the case a year ago. The continuity on the roster is something that should signal another AL Central pennant in this team’s future, but baseball is wild and weird so who knows what will happen.

The good news is that there is a date in mind for when the team is back on a baseball field. Now we all just have to find a way to pass the time until then. Any ideas?
