Cleveland Indians fans are ranked among the best in the world according to the 2017 edition of FanSided’s Fandom 250 rankings.

FanSided released the 2017 Fandom 250 rankings this morning, and Cleveland Indians fans have made it back on the list for a second straight year.

The list spans fandoms ranging from Aaron Judge to the Ohio State Buckeyes, with Indians fans coming in at No. 111 overall. This is way up from last year when the fan base came in at No. 198.

Indians fans have been lucky enough to witness a contender the last two seasons, and that should continue on for at least a few more years.

There is nothing better than October baseball, and Progressive Field is an amazing atmosphere for the postseason. The stadium is finally getting back to its old ways that fans remembered so well from the 90s.

The team still owns a painfully long title drought, but that doesn’t stop fans from being focused on the team throughout the entire year. The winning on the field has fans excited for moves off the field, and the engagement at a time when snow is falling outside shows how much the fans of this team care.

Certain baseball teams may struggle in the standings and still draw large crowds throughout the year, but there isn’t that same level of passion and energy that is seen in Cleveland.

Indians fans were ranked sixth overall in the sport of baseball in the Fandom 250, but I’d argue they belong at the top. Fans have stuck with this team through the good and the bad, never once giving up on the hope of winning it all.

Next: A low initial offer for Carlos Santana

That hope remains alive as the team pursues a World Series title in 2018 in front of the best fans in baseball.
